Cody is pure defence~ he taunts opponents to get their attention off his party members. He is so fast that he can punch swords away by hitting the flat side of the blade. He wears the rare metal "Dark Steel", which is invulnerable to physical impacts and vibrations. The only thing that it cannot block is magic... it causes the metal to heat up and become heavy for some mysterious reason. Cody is also the "Item Man" of the party as he has all kinds of things in his satchel that can help him or his allies. Everything from whetstones to caltrops to healing potions, he's got it covered.

Because of his armor's ability to resist nearly all physical damage he has earned the nicknames: "The Dark Steel Fox" and also "The Dark Steel Blade Crasher" due to his boxing fighting style, which is odd for an Earth user who chooses the path of speed rather then defense.
